The focus of this Special Interest Group was SharePoint 2010.
Martin White (Managing Director of Intranet Focus) shared highlights from his new report for IBF on SharePoint 2010. In this report, Martin looks at the evolution of SharePoint 2010 and evaluates it as an intranet platform. The report is available for purchase. This was followed by a panel discussion chaired by Paul Miller, IBF's CEO and Founder. Paul and Martin were joined by Michael Sampson, Jed Cawthorne and Richard Harbridge:
- Michael Sampson is a Collaboration Strategist who works with organisations to improve the performance of distributed teams. He also writes extensively about technology and collaboration, and has published two books on SharePoint
- Jed Cawthorne is a Senior Specialist, IT Knowledge Management at Canadian Tire Corporation and writes about Enterprise Content Management on CMS Wire and his own blog
- Richard Harbridge has worked with SharePoint for the past 6 years as an end user, developer, administrator, architect, business analyst, and consultant. He is also a regular speaker at conferences.
