IBF 24

IBF 24 is a phenomenon!  It’s a live global interactive experience and gathering of thousands of the world’s intranet, digital and online practitioners – plus swathes of colleagues from communications, technology, human resources and quite a few CIOs and CTOs.

IBF 24 is a FREE 24 hour online interactive broadcast from the Intranet Benchmarking Forum, showcasing live intranet tours and the latest from industry thought leaders. It is a very informal, interactive and fun event.

“It was kind of like being on Jerry Lewis’ Labor Day telethon: there’s just something about the heroic, endurance-test nature of IBF 24 that makes it more fun.” Steve Krug, Advanced Common Sense

“IBF 24 is to intranet professionals what an unattended candy store is to a small child, Christmas came all at once.” Dorje McKinnon, Lincoln University, NZ

It’s free to air and everyone is welcome. You will find it addictive – the average tune in time is nine hours, we are told. You will never experience so much content concentrated into 24 hours. Additionally, all that you enjoy can be listened to and watched later if you are an IBF Member or IBF Live subscriber.

So far IBF 24 has taken place on three occassions – in 2008, 2010 and 2011. Before the last event Zeb Ahmed, Bank of New Zealand said:  ”I’m going to go as far as taking annual leave on those days and stocking up on the energy drinks. That’s how excited I am about taking part in this event! :D

Turn In, Tune in, Get Excited - have your questions answered live on air, phone in and chat to the studio guests, join the twitter back channel which goes crazy as the show kicks in. And we don’t care what happens to trains, planes and automobiles because we will be live on air for 24 hours and you don’t need to step outside your front door, cafe, office, hotel, meeting room or who knows where!

Watch out for next time we run IBF 24!
