Are you ready for the intranet user of the future? That's the question being explored in the upcoming Intranet Benchmarking Forum member research report "New directions in Usability" which will be released in mid March.
In a blog post at Intranet Life report author and IBF Usability expert Louise Hewitt gives an insight into what will be discussed in the report. Questions such as, what will be the consequence of the current explosion of digital content and interaction for intranets and online workspaces? And are users really more tech-savvy or do increasingly simple interfaces actually reduce the users relative understanding of the systems behind them?
The report uses real examples and evidence taken from IBF's user testing sessions during IBF's world leading benchmarking process.
